Well after the disappointing week last week with the 52 inches of snow in 2 days (yep, new record in pheoenix, mi), I ended up getting some good news last night.  I got accepted into the google summer of code program so I will be doing work for them this summer. I guess you could say I don't really work for google per se, but they are the ones who will be signing my paycheck. It's more of contracting work for google, but it's pretty cool none the less. My proposal that made it was the project manager based one, you can read it here if you'd like.  The news also made the front page of digg.com which is pretty crazy to see something with name on it hitting the front page considering millions of people visit that site everyday (so go digg it).


So in other news Fresh also got a house today.  His deal went through which is awesome. I also am very close to launching my company website (probably this weekend). And I have some prospective clients lined up.  So I was takling to Fresh today about him buying his house and I said, "Man that's awesome, if all this stuff works out I'll be able to come down and hang out for a few weeks this summer". Well he said, "Why don't you just stay down here for the summer?". So I think I may actually be living downsate for the summer. I'll be living in his basement like I always said I would, hahahaha. I'll be moving down there after school is done next winter anyways, so I figure I can go down, do this stuff on the side and search for jobs for when I am done with school next december. You can see pics of the house below, and after my last post I realize that  I possibly will be getting out of here sooner than I had thought.

I also got my new digital camera and will be out in vegas in less than a week so I'm pretty excited about that too.  So things are looking up for me and luckily I have been blessed with some good karma lately.
